WebCube (“we”, “us”) provides websites, SEO, and AI services to local businesses across Greater Victoria, the BC Lower Mainland, and Alberta. We are PIPEDA-aware and handle personal information carefully. This policy covers this website and the forms and tools on it.

Information we collect

We only collect what we need:

When you contact us.Our contact and “book a call” forms collect your name, email, phone (optional), business name (optional), your message, and which office you’re contacting. Submissions are stored in our own system and used to reply to you.

When you use the AI Readiness Analyzer.We collect the website URL you submit and your email address, so we can send you the report. The URL is fetched server-side to generate a snapshot; we don’t store the fetched page.

Automatically. With your consent, we collect standard analytics data (pages viewed, referring site, approximate region, device/browser) to understand how the site is used.

Cookies, analytics & third-party tools

We use a cookie-consent banner with Google Consent Mode. Non-essential cookies do not load until you accept. Specifically:

Google Analytics 4 & Google Tag Manager — usage analytics, loaded only after you consent. Google reCAPTCHA— protects our forms from spam and abuse; your use of it is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms. Elfsight Google Reviews — displays our Google reviews on the contact pages. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

How we use your information

To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for; to send the analyzer report you requested; to operate, secure, and improve the website; and to prevent spam and abuse. We do not sell your personal information.

Email consent (CASL)

We email you only with your consent — for example, the confirmation and follow-up to a form you submitted, or the analyzer report you requested. You can withdraw consent or ask us to stop contacting you at any time by emailing contact@webcube.ca.

Sharing

We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run the site and respond to you (such as Google Analytics, Google reCAPTCHA, Elfsight, and our email provider), and only as needed for those purposes — or where required by law. We never sell your data.

Data retention

We keep contact submissions and analyzer requests for as long as needed to respond and maintain our business records, then delete or anonymize them. Analytics data follows the retention set in Google Analytics.

Your rights (PIPEDA)

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and withdraw consent for future contact. Email contact@webcube.caand we’ll respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
